More fun! More product! Wasserman Next Gen has partnered with Vera Bradley to connect with college consumers for years. The Vera Bradley Arcade was a multi-year program that invited college students to test their luck and skill, putting a new spin on how they could get their hands on some Vera Bradley.
A pop-up experience on select college campuses engaged students with larger-than-life games including a Disc Drop Game and a Claw Crane Game (where students waited in 2+ hour long lines to participate) and encouraged students to create a new relationship with not only Vera Bradley, but with their campus trend-setting influencers who helped promote Vera Bradley.
Prizes included exclusive Vera Bradley items and other prizes tied to each school’s culture and selected specifically for the college audience.
A sustained college ambassador program surrounded the campaign with student influencers—uber Vera Bradley fans, who helped with pre- and post-promotion of the events, as well as additional digital integration.
Digital engagement included Instagram Mainfeed/Story posts, and Snapchat takeovers from Vera Bradley’s official account that highlighted new and never-before-seen product and brought the campus culture to the forefront showcasing individual student influencers on each campus.
Vera Bradley continues to value the opportunity to engage with fans directly, gleaning new insights, hearing feedback and identifying new trends and product needs.
