This Fall 2023, Wasserman Next Gen is seeking Brand Ambassadors (BAs) to promote and encourage student attendance for an upcoming Xfinity HBCU tour at your school. BAs will be responsible for 3-weeks of promotion: promoting the event in the week(s) leading up to the pop-up event through social media and peer-to-peer conversations, attending and promoting the event the week of, and wrapping the program following the event.
The goal of the Xfinity HBCU Tour is to invite Black audiences to live and celebrate the legacy, history and pride that is unique and central to HBCU affiliation.
As an HBCU Tour Brand Ambassador for Xfinity, you will be instrumental in spreading awareness to students on your campus. Influencers will be expected to do the following:
Use campus connections to raise awareness and drive students to get excited and engage with the HBCU Tour Activation that will be coming to their campus
Post sponsored content to your personal, public Instagram account to spread the word of the activation, build excitement for the event, and promote Xfinity and its relevance and benefits to students
Attend a brief virtual training session prior to the program
Attend and commit to the entirety of the one-day pop up event as well as the 3 – week program (roughly 10 hours a week)

Are active and outgoing in both face-to-face interactions and across all social media platforms
Are able to target students on campus to drive event traffic
Are very familiar with Xfinity’s brands and services
Must be able to attend the on campus promotional event in August/September
Required to be a full time undergraduate or graduate student
Must be eligible to work in the US and have a valid SSN
